Mr. Ebenezer Allotey is a distinguished insurance professional with over four decades of progressive experience in the insurance industry across Ghana and the broader African continent. His journey is marked by deep-rooted expertise in Insurance and Risk Management, underpinned by a strong foundation in corporate governance, operational leadership, and regulatory compliance.
Throughout his illustrious career, Mr. Allotey has held top-level executive roles in leading insurance institutions across the sub-region. His exceptional leadership has seen him serve as the Managing Director of SIC Insurance Company (Ghana), Prime Insurance Company (Ghana), and City Union Insurance Company (Lagos, Nigeria). He also served as the Chief Operating Officer of Phoenix Insurance (Ghana), and held executive leadership positions at First Union Insurance Brokers and Time Insurance Brokers, both in Lagos, Nigeria, as well as Broking Services International in Cameroon.
With a career spanning local and international markets, Mr. Allotey has consistently demonstrated a unique ability to navigate the dynamic and evolving nature of insurance practice, regulation, and policy development within the ECOWAS sub-region. His contributions to industry innovation, customer-focused service delivery, and strategic policy formulation have earned him wide recognition as a thought leader in insurance management.
Mr. Allotey’s experience extends beyond corporate leadership into significant boardroom service. He has served on numerous boards, including Ghana International Bank (London, 1999–2001), Ghana Tourist Company, and the CDH Group of Companies. He also played a pivotal role in sub-regional cooperation as Chairman of the Ghana National Bureau of the ECOWAS Brown Card Insurance Scheme. His strategic insights have been instrumental to the growth and restructuring of major institutions, such as the Insurance Institute of Ghana, Ghana Insurers Association, and the West Africa Insurance Institute (Gambia).

Appointed in October 2015 as the Executive Director of Corporate Trust Insurance Brokers Ltd, Mr. Ernest Gyan Amoah brings with him a rich blend of experience, leadership, and a deep understanding of the insurance and automobile sectors. His strategic vision and client-focused approach have been instrumental in strengthening the company’s operational efficiency and market reach over the years.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Amoah served as the Head of Marketing and Operations at Corporate Trust Insurance Company, where he played a key role in streamlining internal processes and developing marketing frameworks that enhanced client satisfaction and business growth. His ability to combine analytical insight with practical execution earned him a reputation for delivering results even in highly competitive environments.
Mr. Amoah’s professional journey began in the automobile industry, where he spent over a decade building his expertise and honing his interpersonal and technical skills. He held senior positions at Auto Parts Limited and Universal Motors Limited, serving as a Client Service Manager and Sales & Marketing Officer respectively. These roles not only deepened his knowledge of customer engagement and sales strategy but also reinforced his commitment to service excellence.
Academically, Mr. Amoah is well-grounded in business and technical education. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the Accra Institute of Technology, a Diploma in Insurance from the Ghana Insurance College, and a Diploma in Information Technology from IPMC. This diverse academic foundation supports his dynamic approach to leadership and equips him with the tools necessary to navigate the evolving landscape of insurance and risk management.

Ms. Berlinda Amoo is a dedicated and highly experienced insurance professional currently serving as the Head of the Life and Health Insurance Unit at Corporate Trust Insurance Brokers Ltd. With a strong background in client service, marketing, and account management, she plays a vital role in overseeing and coordinating all account management and marketing activities within the unit.
In her current role, Ms. Amoo leads the development and administration of Life and Health Insurance policies, ensuring that the company’s clients receive well-structured and reliable coverage. She brings a client-focused mindset and a deep understanding of the insurance landscape, making her instrumental in delivering solutions that are both responsive and tailored to the unique needs of individual and corporate clients.
Prior to joining Corporate Trust, she worked with Safety Insurance Brokers Ltd, where she managed accounts for StarLife Assurance and SUNU (formerly Equity) Assurance Company Limited. In this capacity, she was responsible for all health insurance accounts, demonstrating her ability to handle complex insurance portfolios with efficiency and professionalism. Her work was marked by a commitment to client satisfaction, prompt service delivery, and long-term client engagement.
Ms. Amoo holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Marketing, both from the University of Cape Coast.
